Personnel from Fleet Support Unit West scour the beach at Cray Bay at the northern end of Garden Island, Western Australia, during a beach clean up to remove rubbish that had washed up on the island.

About 30 personnel from the Fleet Support Unit, Fleet Base West, took to a number of Garden Island beaches to remove rubbish that had washed up on the island.

The rubbish, which comes ashore on the prevailing tides, included discarded plastic drinking bottles, a range of fishing equipment, and various other flotsam and jetsam.
